Dec. 30 News Letter.

Happy Saturday gang! Tonight is the night as is our tradition to select from the pool of pre-filed bills which 5 bills we will be supporting as an organization. For those who have not joined us before for this event, please do consider joining us in Guilded, which is our streaming platform. If you choose to join us in Guilded and have not done so before, please be in at 7:00 PM so we can help iron out any technical difficulties you may have. We are always in at least half an hour before the stream starts. We’ll be live on Rumble, Odysee and You Tube as well as Twitter (X) and Facebook.

The criteria are as follows.

  1. You must be a resident of Missouri
  2. Please do not bring bills or vote if you are not actively involved with MoFI (you MUST have skin in the game).
  3. Please do not bring more than 5 pre-filed bills for consideration. If you only bring 1 bill, that’s fine too.
  4. Bills brought forth MUST be aligned with the sovereignty of the state and residents of Missouri.
  5. We will not pursue elimination of food sales tax in Missouri in 2024 as Dean Plocher has single handedly prevented all attempts in the House in the past 2 years in his capacity as floor leader AND House speaker. We have no indication he will change on this measure.
  6. Bills must align with both the US Constitution and the Missouri Constitution. (We’ll help you with this on the live stream).
  7. Be polite as you argue the case for the bills you bring forth AND bills you might argue against.
  8. I’ve already had A LOT of communication from folks in the group who do not participate in the live streams that are just interested in silver/gold legal tender legislation and said they trust the group to decide on other bills without their input. I did let them know they would have to be present either by live social media chat or Guilded to vote for gold/silver.

We also select bills to kill but that is not as important for tonight’s stream. We will need to know what bills will be on the knock and shock handout for January 9. Pre-filed bills in the House can be found here. Pre-filed bills in the Senate can be found here.

I joined Locke and Smith’s Tom Martz on KSGF 104.1 FM radio yesterday (Friday, 12-29-23) at 6:00AM for a chat about Missouri legislation and the legislature. It was archived and can be heard here. It’s always a treat when Tom invites me in to the studio. I am making plans to try to be at Scramblers in Springfield, Missouri for the live broadcast next week on Friday (January 5, 2024) from 6:00 to 9:00 AM. I will not be a part of the broadcast but will be there all the same. Folks are welcome to join to watch/listen to the live Nick Reed show. Tom hosts one hour of the show.

John Williams is enjoying a one week vacation from you-tube and had his weekly live stream exclusively on Rumble yesterday (Friday, 12-29-23). Since you tube does not allow any critical thinking of any kind regarding the covid vaccine (along with a huge variety of other topics) John received a strike on his previous broadcast. For those looking for the previous podcast that has been “exterminated” from you tube, never fear, it is on Rumble.

Sam Britton with Missouri Liberty Radio will be taking a break tomorrow (Sunday, December 31) and will re-run his 12-17-23 program with Scott Griffith and John Williams. I am scheduled to Join Sam and Trish as their guest on Sunday, January 7, 2024.

That’s all for now gang. I hope to see many of you tonight.

May God bless us all with good health and with wisdom and courage.

Yours for liberty,

Patrick Holland

Dec. 23 News Letter

Merry Christmas gang! It’s hard to believe the Calendar year is almost over. I know folks are very busy this time of year but we are going to eek out a live stream tonight, and it’s going to cover the Missouri School Board Association and the handbook they give to all school board members that are part of the Association across the state. We’ll be on Rumble, Odysee, and You Tube. We’ll also be on Twitter and facebook.

Gretchen Garrity will join us tonight to help us understand the nuances of the rules for school board members and the regulations they operate under. Gretchen covers this information on her blog regularly. Knowledge is power. Gretchen is going to help us gain MSBA operational knowledge tonight J Follow along as we have posted the handbook on the Missouri Freedom Initiative website.

Few things bring out the hate more than questioning the public school in your district or the public school operation statewide. I received my first death threat when my wife and I challenged the Clever School District when they tried to get a $2.6 million dollar bond through the voters for “safety and security updates” and a field house for the athletics department in April of 2021. It was a foregone conclusion that the bond would be voted in. No one saw my wife and I coming with facebook questioning of the bond issue and the associated costs and a few well-placed you-tube videos. This was before Retha and I had really educated ourselves on how school finances work or how the board operates and what the state school board association is (and how they operate). Just two of us, against an entire district and we were successful. The bond was voted down. Retha and I had only 12 days of notice of the bond before the vote and we still managed to succeed (I was also working SAPA in the legislature at the time as well). It’s not as difficult as people think to stop wasteful spending in your school district. Of note, after it was all said and done, about 60% of Clever respected what we did and how we handled it and about 40% wish we were dead. J Retha and I are not special in any way. Anyone can do this. If your district is trying to max out its borrowing capacity on the backs of the homeowners for “wants” it’s up to you to stop it. If Retha and I depended on others to do it, the bond simply would have passed.

Fast forward nearly 3 years later, most schools across the nation are trying VERY hard to max out their bonding capacity in April of 2024, taking on the maximum debt they are allowed by law from homeowners in their districts while the economy is still “somewhat stable.” Most of this will be under the guise of a “no tax increase bond issue” And will include the language “safety and security upgrades and updates” that are normally handled through the maintenance budget (levy). Since 2021, Retha and I have learned A LOT about how the schools operate, how their funding works, how to get ALL the schools’ financial data (4 separate places), the shell games they play with financing AND how the local school boards are controlled (by banks, MSBA, NEA, Chamber of Commerce and the Teacher’s Union). Tonight, we will focus on the MSBA handbook and how the Missouri school boards operate. Gretchen is an amazing resource on this and has studied the control mechanisms used to control local school boards. She will guide us through the many pitfalls and control mechanisms used to control these boards. Schools are basically run like a business. Most board members are generally led around by one carrot…MONEY. Their primary concern is to bring in as much money as possible to their district. It’s a government model, so it should make sense to most folks. This is generally what US Senators and Representatives do, bring as much federal taxpayer money into their districts as possible. Once you see that, you start to understand how and why school boards operate as they do. What YOU are NOT supposed to know or ask about is the “cost” of the money or what strings are attached or how it will effect homeowners in the district long term.

One final note is that some folks may not know the forces that will oppose you if you question the public school system or try to change it. The MSM media will definitely come after you but so will the MSBA, NEA, Chamber of Commerce, Teacher’s Unions, Democrat politicians and activist groups…etc. It is not for the faint of heart to question the financial shell games, the financial strings attached, the bond language on the ballot, the indoctrination of children into Marxism and the state taking dual custody of your children. Conservative politicians know this first hand. The flak they get when they question the structure for public schools and try to expose the truth of nefarious material buried in the curriculum is a sight to behold. The relentless pro-public school trolls that attack me on twitter is another great example. These folks are protecting the sacred cow they have believed in, defended, protected and helped to maintain and are quite offended by anyone who questions it. The Missouri public school system is a HUGE business. People who are in the matrix fight back if you point out its flaws, its dangers, its corruption and its motives.

I had previously been on Liberty and Finance (2 weeks ago) and failed to link that video up in the last email/newsletter.

John Williams with the Missouri Liberty Report produced his regular live stream last night (Friday, December 22, 2023). John had Sam and Trish Britton on as guests for a free floating conversation covering MANY topics. You can watch/listen to the video on You Tube or on Rumble.

Sam and Trish will do a Christmas show for their Off the Cuff broadcast on 12-24-23 show starting at 6:00PM Central on Missouri Liberty Radio. Sam will be playing clips that were recorded during the shop with a cop while at Walmart. Sam is also covering the “unrealized gains” for income tax in the Supreme Court soon. Sam can be heard at 101.3FM in Owensville Missouri or from the stream on his website.

On Friday, December 29, 2023 I will be joining Locke and Smith’s Tom Martz in the KSGF Studio in Springfield Missouri at 6:00 AM (Central Time). We are going to talk about HB1955 and possibly other legislation that has been pre-filed. You can tune in on 104.1 FM on stream live from the KSGF website here.

Please do not forget about January 9th at 9:00AM at the capitol. It’s Knock and Shock “Silver and Gold day.” The official flyer for Knock and Shock is almost completed. We’ll post on the website when it’s completed.

I hope to see you tonight on the live stream. Merry Christmas everyone! And remember there are no problems, only solutions!

May God bless us all with good health and with wisdom and courage.

News Letter Dec. 16

News Letter Dec. 16

Hey gang! Happy Saturday! We’ll be live tonight at the regular time (7:30 PM Central). We’ll be on Rumble, Odysee and You Tube. We’ll be live on facebook and Twitter (X) as well but do not have links as of yet.

Representative Bill Hardwick joined Ronald Branstetter on  Ron’s Basement for an interesting discussion on the value of the dollar and the importance of gold and silver. The conversation was amazing and highlighted Bill Hardwick’s knowledge on monetary history, monetary policy and the technical aspects of the dollar’s decline in nominal terms. Representative Hardwick’s pre-file (HB1955) of the silver and gold bill (CMA) is now available on the House website! If you look at co-sponsors, the bill already has 7, in less than 24 hours since it was filed! Representative Dirk Deaton (who carried the bill in the House in 2023) was the first to co-sponsor. It’s time for us to call and email our reps and ask them to get onboard with co-sponsorships (if they haven’t already) of HB1955. Although more silver and gold legislation is expected in the House, we should focus our efforts on only one bill. It’s amazing that the Constitutional Money Act is popular enough for multiple filings! Perhaps all filed bills can be merged in the House at some point. Representative’s Hardwick’s version includes the title “To repeal sections 143.121 and 408.010, RSMo, and to enact in lieu thereof three new sections relating to the sole purpose of regulating the treatment and use of gold and silver.” The inclusion of the incorporated subtitle “the sole purpose of” is VERY important. It helps to repel amendments that have nothing to do with gold and silver. That was definitely missing in 2023’s version. Honestly, all bills should have this simple subtitle. It would help prevent Christmas tree bills filled with pork at the end of every session. HB1955 is definitely the best filing in the house at this time and already has momentum!

Another silver/gold legal tender bill has appeared. This one has been sponsored by Representative Doug Richey. It looks like the perfected SB100 house bill from 2023. It has been designated HB1867. I have heard that there are at least two more pre-filings for silver and gold legislation coming soon. It’s a hot topic in the Capitol.

Senator Rick Bratton has also filed a version of the silver/gold legislation. SB866 is a lot like the perfected Senate bill SB100 from 2023.

I forgot to mention last week that the Tenth Amendment Center is already talking about Missouri’s 2024 filing by Senator Bill Eigel, SB735 as well.

Many bills are being pre-filed in the House and Senate. It’s that time of year again gang, it’s time to peruse the pre-filings and find YOUR favorite bills for the December 30th live stream. Reading these bills can make you cross-eyed so it’s helpful to read the executive summaries and if a bill catches your interest, begin a deep dive and examine the details. For those who are new to the organization, we decide as a group what bills our organization supports with our “knock and shock” campaigns at the capitol. The parameters are simple, find your favorite 4 bills (silver and gold legislation is already included – for a total of 5) that deal with the sovereignty of the state of Missouri. In other words, legislation that strengthens Missouri’s ability to protect the resident’s rights and resources. Missouri adopting silver and gold as legal tender, helping to protect residents of the state from inflation and CBDCs is an excellent example of this. Also, gang, we can look at what bills need to be killed.

John Williams had his weekly live stream last night. He welcomed Anders Maidment. Anders ran for U.S. Congress out of the Libertarian Party just a couple years ago. Anders provides a Libertarian perspective on current political events. You can view his video on Rumble or on You Tube.

Sam will be live again on Sunday night (12-17-23). Here’s an excerpt from Sam’s email pre-show notes…

“Hello everyone, here is what is coming up on this weeks Off The Cuff broadcast, on December 17, 2023. As some of you may know, we have been playing promotions regarding the shop with a cop program here in Owensville. This year, the shop with a cop program with strictly run on donations, and we will be discussing all of this and more with Owensville city Marshall, Scott Griffith. That’s right, Scott Will be with us for all three hours of Off the Cuff. If you would like to talk to Scott, we will be also taking your phone calls during this broadcast. John Williams, who has appeared on the broadcast many times before, will also be with us. As a regular listener to the broadcast, Scott has always told me how much he enjoys when John and I are together, so this time Scott gets to be with us as well. While I am sure that we will get into some serious subjects, there will be a lot of fun on this broadcast. So don’t forget to tune in to this broadcast this Sunday evening, December 17, 2023. While we will take phone calls from anywhere in the country, we would particularly like to focus on a chance for you locally to call in as well. Blessings, and we hope to see you this Sunday evening December 17, 2023 at 6 PM. Take care, Sam”

Retha is working on more videos having to do with school districts. We are now having to deal with Clever school district (our school district) because the school board has recently voted to max out their bonding capacity ($16.5 Million dollars) on the April 2024 ballot. Many districts across Missouri are doing this. What are their current finances and debt? How much will taxes go down if the bond is not approved? When will taxes go down if the bond is not approved? Why deceptive language on the ballot for the school bond? What are the current school performance ratings of students? Why spend so much money when student enrollment has flat lined? Why are school board members discouraged from talking to their constituents? What are the goals of the Missouri School board Association? Who truly controls your local school board (and by extension, your school’s policies and curriculum?) Why isn’t the focus of acquiring more money on improving academic performance? These are questions most school boards and superintendents do not want asked. Well, we not only ask, we investigate to find the answers because the school board asking for more money will not answer the questions. Stay tuned.

That’s all for now gang. I hope to see you tonight on the stream.

May God bless us all with good health and with wisdom and courage.

Patrick Holland

Dec. 10 News Letter

Happy Saturday gang! We’ll be live again tonight at 7:30 PM Central. You can catch any of our streams or you can be a part of the conversation by joining us on guilded. The streams will be on Rumble, Odysee, and You Tube. We’ll also stream to Twitter and Facebook but we do not have links for them as of yet.

Tonight, I feel compelled to do something I haven’t done in five years (back in the Truth Money and Freedom Podcast days), it’s time to go over the 45 steps to communism. Communism’s 45 goals were read into the Congressional Record by Congressman Albert S. Herlong Jr., (D-Florida), in 1963. These goals were gleaned from the testimony given to Congress by scholars and from the writings of current or former Communists. “Emergencies” such as “global warming” “global climate change” “covid” and “terrorism” have all led to communist planks being fulfilled with national and state laws and the culture. Division is a LARGE part of the plan as well because division leads to distrust. When you distrust your neighbor, you’ll “need” government to step in and “protect you” from your neighbor. It’s as much psychological/spiritual warfare as it is a complete takeover of the culture and government. Add the government infiltration by the WEF into the mix and you’ve brought in the influence and money to make it all happen. Many planks of communism are brought in as “moral” or “common sense” actions by government. This is designed to make YOU feel like YOU are immoral or selfish if you do not agree with government actions and laws that forward communist agendas. The damage being done to western culture in order to usher in feudalism (a form of communism) by governments, central banks, media and even public education is extreme and will take a generation to heal. We’ll cover this tonight. We’ll also discuss Senator Eigel and Representative Hardwick’s gold and silver bill tonight.

Senator Eigel was featured on Ron’s Basement on Tuesday. You can view video here. Senator Eigel recommends that folks in Missouri call Representative Dean Plocher’s office and let him know that YOU know he single handedly stopped 2023’s version of the bill (SB100) and ask him to explain why he killed the bill. They should also let him know that if he does anything to stop this Constitutional bill in 2024, there may be political consequences for Plocher’s Lt. Governor run in 2024. That’s good advice. J I recently learned that Senator Eigel will be on Liberty and Finance sometime next week.

Catherine and Kirby with Rogue Politics have released a new video. It seems every time they release a video I am more amazed at their abilities than I was before. This week was no exception. In the latest release, Catherine and Kirby have found enough waste in the Missouri state budget to fund personal property tax for all Missourians! Rogue Politics is not a government entity, nor are they accredited accountants or even paid for their activism/work. Catherine and Kirby are just regular folk like us who took it upon themselves to actually delve into the Missouri budget line by line and find wasteful spending. They stopped when they hit $1.7 Billion, which is the total cost to Missourians for personal property tax yearly. My guess is that they could have easily found $10 to $20 billion in waste if they had the months of free time it would take. I have a feeling this information will reach the general assembly. If you ever needed proof that individuals can actually “make a difference” or “get something done” look no further than these two ladies who in their spare time are warriors for liberty. Their superpower is going through the Missouri state budget line by line without going crazy. J Trust me, this IS an actual superpower.

On Thursday, I joined Dunagun Keiser for an appearance on Finance and Liberty. The topic was Senator Eigel and Representative Hardwick’s gold and silver bill.

Also on Thursday, I joined Catherine and Kirby and Roger Jackson on the Patriot Enclave on 93.3 FM. My segment begins at about the 34 minute mark. The entire show is worth listening to. It’s always a treat to visit with Catherine, Kirby and Roger on the Patriot Enclave. Please consider following them on twitter (X).

On Friday, John Williams with the Missouri Liberty Report had another brilliant live stream covering many of the problems we have in this nation and this state. He also covers solutions. John also covered communism infiltration at all levels of politics in America which helped inspire the live stream we will be doing tonight. If you haven’t subscribed to John’s channel on Rumble, please consider doing so. John is an important part of our liberty network and you can also find him on twitter (X).

On Sunday night (6:00 to 9:00PM Central), Sam Britton with Missouri Liberty Radio will be talking with first time guest Representative Bill Hardwick on Sam’s signature program, “Off the Cuff.” Bill Hardwick has filed the same silver and gold legislation as Senator Eigel. Sam will be discussing this with the Representative. This is a live show, so free to call in and ask questions and share your opinions on all things gold/silver legislation! Be sure to tune in live on 103.1FM if you are in the Owensville market. All others can listen live from the stream on the website. Sam and Trish Britton amaze me. For those who did not know, Sam and Trish are both blind yet they run a radio station, produce a weekly radio show and provide show notes via email. Despite their handicap, they choose to fight for liberty and educate and inspire folks via the airwaves! Again, everyone can make a difference.

Don’t forget to bookmark Gretchen Garrity’s blog. She is constantly carrying good info on local government issues, such as libraries and schools.

That’s all for now gang. I hope to see you tonight.

May God bless us all with good health and with wisdom and courage.

Missouri is going for the Gold (and silver)

Senator Bill Eigel has pre-filed SB735, silver and gold as legal tender in Missouri. However, word on the street is that no less than 4 house members are pre-filing as well. What can the people of Missouri do to support a bill BEFORE session starts (January 3, 2024)? We’ll discuss this and MUCH more tonight.

Dec. 2 News Letter

Happy Saturday gang! Some good news, Yesterday Senator Bill Eigel pre-filed SB735, the new silver and gold as legal tender bill! We also have direct confirmation that Representative Bill Hardwick is pre-filing the bill in the House as well. We’ll discuss this on tonight’s live stream which will be streamed on Rumble, Odysee, You Tube, Twitter and Facebook.

I’ve already had word that silver and gold legislation is again being filed in MANY states in 2024. Florida, New Hampshire, Texas, Tennessee… etc. The list of states is growing. If you or someone you know is in a state other than Missouri, please consider contacting the Citizens for Sound Money who are leading the charge in many of these other states.

Because of the “difficulties” with SB100 (2023’s version of the silver and gold bill) in the 2023 legislative session, we’ll discuss strategy tonight now that we know that Representative Hardwick is pre-filing the same bill. This gives us an opportunity to start a campaign for co-sponsorship. Those of you who were with us during SAPA probably remember this. We know that SB100 was very popular and had more than enough votes to be passed in the house despite leadership saying they allowed the democrats to waste time on the floor because they were trying to “whip the votes” for lack of support. This lie came directly from the Floor Leader’s office. Also the bill for this year has for lack of a better term an incorporated subtitle “for the sole purpose of” which can help repel amendments that have nothing to do with silver and gold. It is important to remember two aspects of the 2024 legislative season. The first is that we have the same general assembly that we had in 2023. That means we can take advantage of the momentum that the grassroots had in 2023 for gold and silver legislation. The second is that 2024 is an election year. An election year can change the dynamic and help push populist bills. A full copy of SB735 can be viewed here as it has not been posted at the Senate website at the time of this writing.

As I stated in my e-mail last week, I was invited back to Ron’s Basement for 2 videos that as of that time were not released. They have since been released and you can see video 1 here and video 2 here. More about Ron in a bit…

John Williams with the Missouri Liberty Report produced a video that included and excellent video about what really happened in Waco, Texas back in 1993. It is important for folks to remember this was actually handled at first by Hillary Clinton who recommended the escalation before Janet Reno was appointed to Attorney General. The federal government chose to kill these people and the subsequent laws that were enacted as a result of Waco were directed against what we know today as “preppers.” Thank you John for another great video!

Now back to Ron’s Basement. Ronald Branstetter will be the featured guest on Sam Britton’s show “Off the Cuff” tomorrow night (Sunday, December 3rd) at 6:00PM Central. Ron has consistently covered news on individual state’s legislation for gold and silver (especially Missouri) and is really the only one producing videos with this regular coverage on his social media channels. Ron only has one hour to give tomorrow night, so he’ll be on from 6:00 to 7:00PM. Since it’s a live call in show, feel free to call in and talk with Ron. Sam has graciously allowed me to co-host with him tomorrow night, so I will be there for the full three hour show. If you’re in the Owensville area, tune in to 101.3FM, if not, you can hear the show live from the streaming app on Sam’s website.

I’ve been in contact with Kirby Lane and she and Catherine Dreher are planning for a possible Monday release of their next video on Rogue Politics. For those who were wondering, they are doing well but they have schedules, jobs, kids and life in general so producing a video a week is a challenge. They are alive and well J

As we enter the silly season, there is work we can do right now to help the silver and gold legislation. We’ll have a full description tonight about what you can do from your home to start to help the 2024 gold and silver legislation across the finish line tonight on the stream. Remember January 9, 2024 is Silver and Gold day at the capitol, our first Knock and Shock campaign of the new year. This is a family friendly event and in many instances is an excused absence from school to visit the capitol. Event flyer coming soon….

That’s all for now gang, I hope to see you in the live stream tonight.

May God bless us all with good health and with wisdom and courage.
