Dec.21 News Letter

Happy Saturday! We’ll be live tonight at the normal time (7:30 PM Central). Despite the hiccup last week (You-Tube shut down our stream because I was playing “Silver and Gold” by Burl Ives during the intro). Folks, please take note of stuff like this because You Tube has been messing with our channels dating back to “Truth Money and Freedom” in 2017. If we have a scheduled stream but for some reason, the stream is not working on You Tube, head over to Rumble or Twitter (X).

Last week, we started meeting for the stream in Signal as opposed to Guilded. I hate moving things around as much as anyone else but it had to be done. There are limitations on Signal but for the most part, it seems to work OK and the broadcast software (Prism) seems to be OK with it. We’ll be live on Twitter (X), Rumble, Odysee and hopefully You Tube.

Our first scheduled Knock and Shock campaign will be on January 15, 2025. We generally meet in the capital at 9:00AM although it’s an all-day event and people come and go as their schedule allows. We’re generally wrapping up around 5:00PM. Although we have not as yet selected bills to support as an organization, the mission is to support the bills we have selected by passing out flyers, and talking to Senators and Representatives about these bills AND get co-sponsors for the bills we support. This is actually very important. By actually showing up, speaking to our elected officials, we actually start the process of helping setup priorities for the legislature. Phone calls and e-mails help but nothing replaces the personal touch of a visit to the capital. If your Representative and/or your Senator do not know your name, this is actually your fault, not theirs. Make sure you get to know your representation and they get to know you. Knock and Shock is the ideal way to meet them to show your level of involvement in the legislative process if you haven’t already and speak with them, especially if you are travelling the halls supporting legislation in a group of 30+ people. This leave an impression, trust me. Developing relationships in Jefferson City is very important and cannot be understated.

Home base for the January 15 Knock and Shock will be Senator Mike Moon’s office. Mike Moon is the sponsor of SB25, the Constitutional Money Act. Senator Moon’s office is on the 2nd floor of the capital, Room 220. Home base is where we meet, where we organize, where we share intel we receive during the day and where we form strategies if needed. It’s also where we store lunch boxes and jackets for the day, where conceal carry permit holders can leave our personal carry weapons (some parts of the capital do not allow for conceal carry). *Note, Constitutional Carry is not allowed in the Capital. I have spoken with both Mike and his LA (Legislative Assistant) Luke, and Mike Moon would love to have as many co-sponsors as we can get for him on this legislation. Although Senate bills usually do not get this kind of love, I think this is the PERFECT bill to get 6+ Senate co-sponsors on and it’s worth the time and effort. This will be part of the mission on January 15 if SB25 is selected for support by the group. Let’s call our Senators in advance and ask them to co-sponsor Mike Moon’s SB25!

January 8th is also a big day at the capital. A rally has been scheduled and a lot of grassroots have signed on. On January 8th, all folks elected in November will be sworn in. This is not a good day for Knock and Shock but still is an opportunity to support the legislators. I’ll have more info for this during the live stream tonight.

Justin Sparks spoke in Nixa Missouri on the 19th of December. I was there for the event and will give everyone a sitrep (Situation Report) tonight.

On the last live stream (12-14-24) I said we would be streaming tonight (12-21-24) and on the 28th. I want everyone to know I am not certain we can stream on the 28th at this time. I will be travelling this coming up week (Minnesota again) and I can’t really guarantee anything under those circumstances. Best advice is to check for an e-mail on Saturday morning/afternoon. If I can’t go live, I usually can’t (or don’t) send an e-mail OR send an email that explains why we can’t go live (if I have access from where I am at). We’ll come up with a better system in time.

Our friend, John Williams continues to produce his live stream every Friday night. You can see his work on You Tube or on Rumble.

Sam Britton with Missouri Liberty Radio is live with his signature program “Off the Cuff” every Sunday from 6:00PM to 9:00PM Central.

Representative Bill Hardwick’s Constitutional Money Act (HB433) has caught the attention of our friends at the Tenth Amendment Center. Representative Michael Davis has also filed his version of the Constitutional Money Act (HB630)! You can read the blog entry here.

Representative Hardwick’s HB433 has 3 co-sponsors as of today (12-21-24). Let’s call/email our reps and ask them to co-sponsor HB433. Here is the updated Missouri House Roster. If you have a new Representative who was just elected, their phone number and email address will be posted soon.

This email is VERY late, and I’ve run out of time, so I’ll end it there. I hope to see you all tonight on the stream.

May God bless us all with good health and with wisdom and courage.

Dec.14 News Letter

Happy Saturday gang. We will be live tonight at the normal time (7:30 PM Central). However, tonight we are going to try the broadcast from Signal. I am still looking into Teleguard but Signal is already mostly setup and ready to go, so we’ll use it for now. For those of you who are unaware, Signal is an encrypted app for both smart phones and PCs. Here is a link to Signal’s website. Here is an invite to our shared MoFI group on signal. We will no longer broadcast from Guilded. This change is for folks who participate directly via voice or video on our streams. For those who simply watch the broadcast on our socials or just participate through social media text chat, nothing has changed. You’ll be able to catch our broadcast tonight on Twitter (X), Rumble, Odysee and You Tube.

Last week, I co-hosted with Sam Britton on the 20th anniversary of Missouri Liberty Radio on a special 6 hour show. That show is available in Sam’s archive. We also broadcasted on our socials with the exception of you tube. It’s kind of hard to celebrate free speech on a censored platform.

Tonight, we’re going to talk about the silver/gold legislation that has been filed in Missouri, Florida and Texas. With any luck, we’ll get Daniel Diaz to chime in on what is going on in Florida (I have a feeling he knows a LOT about what is going on legislatively down there). In Missouri, we have 3 known bills pre-filed. Senator Mike Moon’s SB25, Senator Rick Brattin’s SB194 and Representative Bill Hardwick’s HB433. As of the time I am writing this, HB433 already has 2 co-sponsors. My Rep (Bob Titus) co-sponsored within an hour of my phone call asking him to do so. It’s that time folks; it’s time to call/email our reps and ask them to co-sponsor HB433. In fact, let’s contact our Senators and ask them to co-sponsor Mike Moon’s SB25 as well. Co-sponsorship is different in the Senate, it’s rare but it DOES happen. Missouri House Roster. Missouri Senate Roster.

As you probably already know, Representative Justin Sparks is running for Speaker of the House. Justin is travelling the state and meeting with folks to explain why he is running, why he entered the race so late, what he wants to do as Speaker and how it will benefit the House and by extension the people if he is elected. Representative Jonathan Patterson is the presumed speaker as he was elected presumptive speaker some 18 months ago. This practice of electing the Speaker so far in advance serves only one purpose, so corporations know who do donate to 18 months in advance to serve their agendas. In reality, the House rules are the prize here. The current House rules sponsored by Patterson for Dean Plocher 2 years ago are terrible (HR11 in 2023). With Patterson as presumed Speaker and remembering his role in getting the new House rules passed in January of 2023 is what many people are thinking about. Also, Patterson does not align properly with the Republican Party (by vote history). Also, Patterson’s close relationship with the HRCC (House Republican Campaign Committee) has many folks on edge because we’ve seen how much damage the HRCC can do to true conservatives when they do not get in line with the corporatists/RINOs. Representative Sparks will be in my neck of the woods on Thursday, December 18 at Godfather’s Pizza in Nixa, Missouri. I will be there, I encourage others to come to this meet and greet if they can (Details below).

I have been asked by MANY people in the past month if I know where Patterson stands on the Constitutional Money Act. The truth is, I do not know, in fact I don’t think anyone knows at this time. I do know that Sparks is in favor of it though. The Senate looks VERY favorable for passage of the Constitutional Money Act in 2025 (again). The House leadership is again the wild card.

That’s all for now gang. I am going to get some testing done for our Signal group today before we go live. I will be watching for folks joining the group today so we can get you in before the broadcast.

May God bless us all with good health and with wisdom and courage.

Help us celebrate 20 years of free speech on Missouri Liberty Radio Dec. 7 at 1 PM.

Happy Saturday gang! It’s been two weeks since our last live stream. I did say we would have a live stream today, I was wrong. I forgot that Sam Britton is celebrating 20 years of free speech as Missouri Liberty Radio is 20 years old this month! I’ll be on the radio with Sam at 1:00PM today. The planned time is 1:00 to 9:00PM for the broadcast. We will be re-broadcasting this event live on Twitter (X), Rumble and Odysee. We will not be on You Tube for this because we will be talking about Covid-19 and other information/topics that are regularly censored by You Tube. We will be talking about everything under the sun really and taking your calls.

We have three silver/gold bills pre-filed in the House and Senate. We’ll talk about this tonight and we will be hearing from two of the sponsors of these bills tonight as well (Senator Mike Moon and Representative Bill Hardwick). Senator Mike Moon’s legislation is SB25. Representative Bill Hardwick’s bill is HB433. Senator Rick Brattin’s bill is SB194.

I hope to hear from you on today’s show.

May God bless us all with good health and with wisdom and courage.
